My Building is Mira Road East, Thane. In May 2013 Society decided to repair the Society Building (For Plastering from inside & outside as well as Painting, including terrace rain water leakage) nearly 50% of the work was incomplete, due shortage of funds. Terrace leakage exist so Managing Committee decided 2015/16 to CONSTRUCT A WEATHER SHED on the roof top at contribution of funds xxx amount .
My verbal objection in society was that to complete the pending work and then start the Weather Shed Construction. Therefore I did not Contribute to the funds raised by the society.
The MC/AGM decided to levy Penalty for non-payment of Weather Construction.
Since it found funds are insufficient, and repairing of terrace slab will not give leak proof slab, it has decided to put a roof over the top floor slab, by collecting additional funds.
I find there is nothing wrong in asking for additional funds from members, for putting a roof on top floor slab. Therefore, I request you to make payment to the Society.
If you find it is wrong, then without making a payment, make a complaint against the Society to Deputy Registrar under bye-law No. 174(A)(xxii).
