I purchsed Sony Xperia Z2 Mobile for Rs. 35000/-on 21.03.2015.I made insurance with Apps Daily by paying premium for one year.
The mobile was lost/stolen in Panaji Fish Market 24.01.2016.
I informed to Apps daily immediately and they registered my complaint as AD_T_240116_2942099. I made immediate complaint in Panaji Police station as per a standard format kept in police station (Complaint no.MAR 368/2016 dated 24.01.2016 and got certificate INW no.1222 dated 27.01.2016.)
I submitted all the documents stipulated format to UB Insurance Associates Bangalore on 28.1.2016
After rigorous follow up I was told in May 2016 that the Loss/pickpocket does't come under theft and hence your claim is rejected. When I went to Police station they told that they are not taking FIR for mobile theft.Tracking of mobile by Police also did not work and subsequently and finally I lost mobile worth of Rs.35000/- So please inform to all your readers that they should read carefully the terms and conditions before going for the Insurance cover for the same.
