I am a retired State Bank of Official.
Previously I have subscribed moneycontrol.com. The subscription time was lapsed and I am receiving mails from moneycontrol.com to renew the subscription. But I am not interested to renew the subscription.
On 02-01-2021 at 00.03 AM my credit card was debited an amount of Rs.999/- and I received a mail from moneycontrol that they have received an amount of Rs.999/- moneycontrol pro renewal. At 00.17 AM my card issuer SBI credit cards altered me a suspicious transaction in my credit card account and blocked my credit card.
I am not to renewed the subscription. How moneycontrol.com able to deduct unauthorisedly my credit card amount using illegally stored my credit card credentials like CVV / PIN numbers.
How my credit card issuer SBI credit cards able to detect it as a spurious transaction and blocked my credit card. I think that money control.com may debit the amount from many of the credit card holders.
After my complaint to my card issuer, they have raised a complaint to recover the amount from moneycontrol.com. SBI credit cards totally blocked my credit card and are issuing a new credit card with normal fees.
Storing my credit card credentials is unethical and using that credentials debiting my account without my permission is illegal. They have caused inconvenience to me not to use my card and I have applied for a new card.
I want to teach a lesson to moneycontrol.com for their unauthorised transactions and inconvenience caused to many customers like me.
