Justice Hegde was appointed as the Advocate General for the state of Karnataka in 1984. He was the Solicitor General of India 1998-99 when he was appointed to the Supreme Court of India. He has been awarded honorary doctorates from 5 universities and was also appointed as Lokayukta of Karnataka for a term of 5 years. Among his many awards, he has been named the Times of India's Man of the Year twice, he was named Indian of the Year by NDTV in 2010 and also been awarded the Nani Palkhiwala award for Civil Liberties and Human Rights. Post his retirement he joined the anti-corruption movement launched by Anna Hazare as a core member of the team.
Prof. Reetika Khera is one of India's leading development economists. Miss Khera is a highly visible, seminal advocate for improved welfare programs in the country and actively helped to implement India's National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Shailesh Gandhi is the only RTI activist to be chosen for the post of Central Information Commissioner. Apart from being a staunch believer in the power of RTI, he is passionate about evolving ways for a time bound justice delivery system.
