Tips & Tricks for the Lazy RTI User
Wednesday, 12 June 2019 | Time: 5pm-7pm
img 1RTI users and activists draft their requests for information in ways that the PIO is tempted to deny, and justify it. What follows is an unnecessarily energetic battle in first/second appeal, and occasionally, HC and SC.

Krishnaraj Rao, admits to being a lazy activist & will share his insights, learnings to help you become a more efficient (and laid-back) RTI user.
Krishnaraj Rao is a well-known activist for Right to Information and transparent governance, and a public speaker as well. Along with Retd. CIC Shailesh Gandhi, he worked to popularise "RTI Inspections under Section 4" in Mumbai in 2008. He addresses people from all walks of life on how to use Right to Information, and how to reclaim the Constitutional rights & duties of citizens. Mr Rao is part of an informal countrywide network of activists who are actively disseminating knowledge and practical inputs among RTI applicants and appellants. He assists in citizen's participation in democratic self governance by supporting other activists in sharing their knowledge.
