Coimbatore-based Vijayeswari Textiles Ltd has appointed VVSSB Shankar as chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. Prior to joining this company, Mr Shankar was the managing partner of Transware engaged in mergers & acquisitions, retail strategy and management consulting.
On Monday, Vijayeswari Textiles shares closed 2.18% up at Rs23 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.11% down at 17,441 points.
