Integrated Hitech has mysteriously shot up 341%

Integrated Hitech (Rs4)

Integrated Hitech Ltd is an information technology company specialising in income tax software and services. The company has been found guilty and warned by the BSE for not furnishing reports on shareholding pattern as well as corporate governance for the June 2011 and March 2012 quarters, respectively. The company’s financials are pathetic. Its net sales were Rs4 lakh each for September 2012 and December 2012 quarter, Rs5 lakh for March 2013 and Rs4 lakh each June 2013 and September2013 quarters. Similarly, its net profits remained poor at Rs1 lakh, Rs1 lakh, Rs16,000,Rs1 lakh and Rs1 lakh for the same quarters. There is not much change in the company’s income or profits to warrant any movement in the share price. Yet, the company’s stock price shot up 341%—from Re0.92 to Rs4.06 between 11 March 2013 and 13 November 2013. The regulators, as usual, are doing nothing to investigate such rampant price-rigging, despite having spent crores of rupees on advanced system of tracking unusual price changes.
