TRF Ltd, a TATA Enterprise, said it received a Rs401.2 crore work order from NTPC Ltd for the power utility’s Vindhyachal super thermal power project.
The scope of the work includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of coal handling plant on turnkey basis for NTPC’s Vindhyachal super thermal power project stage-IV (2x500 MW), TRF said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On Friday, TRF shares closed 2.8% higher at Rs836, and NTPC shares closed 1.2% up at Rs202 on the BSE. While, the Sensex declined 0.3% to 17,460 points.
