Surya Pharmaceutical Ltd has started commercial production at its Jammu plant.
At this plant, the company has created the capacity to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and sterile products as per US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) norms for catering to regulated markets like the US and Europe.
On Thursday, Surya Pharmaceutical shares ended 0.50% up at Rs179 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.14% down at 17,730 points.
