SEBI Launches Cyber Suraksha Portal To Strengthen Cybersecurity Awareness among Market Participants
Moneylife Digital Team 25 August 2026
Market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has launched a cyber suraksha portal as part of its cybersecurity initiative to strengthen awareness and information sharing across the securities market.

According to SEBI, the new portal will serve as a centralised platform for sharing important cybersecurity knowledge and information with market participants.

The portal is intended to provide securities market participants with access to the latest information on cyber threats and regulatory developments. It will include cybersecurity-related circulars, vulnerability warnings, and insights into cyber incidents, allowing participants to stay up to date on emerging risks.

The launch comes as cybersecurity risks remain a significant concern for financial market infrastructure and participants. By bringing relevant information together on a single platform, SEBI aims to facilitate wider dissemination of cybersecurity-related knowledge within the securities market.

SEBI states that the cyber suraksha portal will provide a 'comprehensive, centralised hub' for the securities market to share crucial cybersecurity information.
