The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has cautioned investors against two individuals identified as ‘Jeewan’ and ‘Happy Singh’, who are allegedly offering securities market tips, assured or guaranteed returns and account-handling services while asking investors to share their trading login credentials.
In the first caution, NSE said a person named, ‘Jeewan’ is operating through mobile number 9945731932 and is offering securities market tips, assured or guaranteed returns on stock-market investments and account-handling services. Investors are allegedly being asked to share their login ID and password. NSE clarified that the person is not registered either as a member or an authorised person of any registered member of the Exchange.
In a separate caution, NSE identified ‘Happy Singh’, who is operating through mobile number 8078604601 and a YouTube channel named ‘Free minded Trading#1’ having link
youtube.com/@Ishvindersingh-i8v. NSE said the person is offering securities market tips, assured or guaranteed returns and account-handling services while asking investors to share their login ID and password.
NSE advised investors not to subscribe to any scheme or product offered by individuals or entities promising indicative, assured or guaranteed returns in the stock market, as such offers are prohibited by law. Investors have also been cautioned against sharing their trading credentials, including user IDs and passwords, with anyone.
The Exchange has asked investors to independently verify the credentials of any person claiming to be associated with a stockbroker. NSE provides a ‘
know/locate your stock broker’ facility at, where investors can check registered members and their authorised persons. The facility also displays designated client bank accounts disclosed by trading members for receiving or paying money to investors.
The Exchange further warned that participation in such prohibited schemes would be at the investor’s own risk, cost and consequences, as these schemes are neither approved nor endorsed by NSE.
Importantly, NSE said that investors who participate in such prohibited schemes will not have access to investor protection under the exchange’s jurisdiction, the Exchange’s dispute resolution mechanism or the investor grievance redressal mechanism administered by the Exchange.
