Moneylife Digital Team 10 June 2026
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has cautioned investors against dealing with two individuals, Purna Kabiraj and Ritik Sharma, who are allegedly offering stock market tips, account-handling services and promises of assured returns through social media platforms.

In one advisory, NSE said it had received information about Purna Kabiraj, operating through mobile number 9126602574, YouTube channel 'BANGLAR TRADER'is accessible through the link https://www.youtube.com/@banglartrader and Facebook page 'Banglar Trader' operates through the link https://www.facebook.com/banglartrader?mibextid=ZbWKwL. According to the Exchange, the individual is allegedly providing securities market tips and account-handling services while asking investors to share their login IDs and passwords.

In a separate investor caution notice, NSE warned against Ritik Sharma, operating through mobile number 8112279924 and Telegram channel 'DEMAT ACCOUNT HANDLING'  having link https://t.me/DEMAT_ACCOUNT_HANDLING0. The exchange said the individual was allegedly offering stock market tips, account-handling services and assured or guaranteed returns on investments in the stock market.

NSE clarified that neither Purna Kabiraj nor Ritik Sharma is registered as a trading member or authorised person of any registered member of the exchange. It reminded investors that schemes promising indicative, assured or guaranteed returns in the stock market are prohibited by law.

The Exchange also warned investors against sharing user IDs, passwords or other trading credentials with any third party. Investors have been advised to verify the credentials of brokers and authorised persons through NSE's 'Know/Locate Your Stock Broker' facility before entering into any investment arrangement.

NSE further pointed out that investors participating in such unauthorised schemes would not be entitled to investor protection benefits, exchange dispute resolution mechanisms or grievance redressal facilities administered by the Exchange. Any losses arising from dealings with such entities would therefore be borne entirely by the investors.

The latest advisories highlight the growing misuse of social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Telegram by unregistered operators seeking to attract investors with promises of easy profits.

NSE has urged investors to exercise caution, verify the registration status of intermediaries and avoid any scheme that offers guaranteed returns or requires the sharing of trading account credentials.
