Nifty, Sensex Rise on FIIs Turning Positive: Wednesday Market Report

On Wednesday, 3018 stocks advanced, 1033 declined and 115 remained unchanged, with an advance decline ratio of 2.92 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), indicating positive closing of stocks in broader markets. 
 
The trend of the major indices on Wednesday’s trading is given in the table below.
 
 
On NSE, 42 securities advanced and closed at a new 52-week high whereas 89 securities sank to close at their new 52-week lows. In sectoral indices, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Energy and Nifty Infrastructure were among the biggest gainers. Nifty IT and Nifty FMCG were among the biggest losers.
 
KPIT Technologies (+1.64%) entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) during the Global Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Summit in Kochi to promote hydrogen-based mobility initiatives in Kerala. 
 
Punjab & Sind Bank (+3.04%) and Piramal Capital & Housing Finance (Piramal Finance) entered into a strategic co-lending partnership to enhance credit availability for middle- and low-income borrowers, with a special emphasis on rural and semi-urban regions.
 
Bajaj Finance (+0.57%) raised Rs542.74 crore through the allotment of 5,450 non-convertible debentures (NCDs), at face value of Rs10 lakh each on private placement basis. The Debentures are proposed to be listed on the wholesale debt market segment of BSE.
 
HCL Technologies (-0.88%) launched HCLTech FlexSpace for AI PCs in collaboration with Intel. This innovative solution enhances AI-powered enterprise computers, offering businesses the computing power and flexibility needed for AI-driven environments.
 
Morepen Laboratories (+2.11%) executed a business transfer agreement (BTA) with its subsidiary—Morepen Medtech for the hiving-off of Medical Devices Business on a 'slump sale’ as a going concern basis. 
 
KPI Green Energy (+4.32%) received final sanction letter from National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) for credit facilities amounting to Rs272 crore for the part financing of the 50MW hybrid power project comprising of 75.2MWp solar capacity and 16.95MW wind capacity at Bharuch, Gujarat.
 
Zen Technologies (+0.56%) completed the investment and acquired 45.33% of the total paid up share capital of the Bhairav Robotics (Bhairav). In addition, Bhairav has become an associate company of Zen Technologies.
 
Nazara Technologies (+2.29%) acquired 18,330 equity shares of Rs1 each, representing 8.97% of the equity share capital of Absolute Sports (Absolute) which owns popular sports media and news brand Sportskeeda against payment of sale consideration of Rs69.17 crore.
 
Zydus Lifesciences (+0.86%) received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture Apalutamide Tablets, 60 mg (Erleada Tablets, 60 mg). Apalutamide is an androgen receptor inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer. Apalutamide tablets will be produced at Zydus Lifesciences Ltd (SEZ), Ahmedabad.
