Larsen & Toubro (-0.87%) secured an ultra-mega offshore order from ADNOC valued above ₹15,000 crore, reinforcing its Gulf hydrocarbon sector presence with significant domestic fabrication work.
Thangamayil Jewellery (-4.99%) reported 119.55% y-o-y sales growth during the Aadi Perukku festival, generating ₹344.16 crore revenue over three days.
Belrise Industries (-0.63%) acquired Hyva India’s Tipper Body Business for USD 5.65 million, expanding its commercial vehicle component portfolio.
Dabur India (-3.79%) responded promptly to the FSSAI order directing the removal of “100%” claims from certain food products. The company affirmed that it has never made misleading claims and stands by the purity and quality of its products. Most affected labels and advertisements are either already updated or in the process of being changed. Dabur is actively engaging with FSSAI to resolve the matter and is seeking legal advice on the way forward. The company emphasized that the regulatory notice concerns product description interpretation, not product quality or safety.
Earnings
Castrol India (+0.66%) posted 42.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) net profit growth to ₹347 crore and 25% revenue increase to ₹1,871 crore in Q2, alongside a 40.8% EBITDA rise and margin expansion to 32.03%.
Protean eGov Technologies (-1.47%) reported 19% y-o-y revenue growth to ₹250.96 crore but net profit fell sharply by 76.4% to ₹7.64 crore due to a 25% rise in expenses.
Pidilite Industries (-1.37%) saw 29.7% y-o-y net profit growth to ₹872 crore and 21.3% revenue increase to ₹4,552 crore, with EBITDA rising 30.4% and margins improving to 23.8%.
Alembic Pharma (+0.45%) recorded 11.7% net profit growth to ₹172 crore and 26% revenue growth to ₹2,150 crore in Q1 FY27, with EBITDA up 18.6% but margin slightly contracting to 15.5%.
Morepen Laboratories (+20.00%) delivered a five-fold net profit increase to ₹56.4 crore and 34.1% revenue growth to ₹570.1 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 14.5%.
BASF India (+5.83%) reported a 162% net profit surge to ₹360.3 crore and 29% revenue growth to ₹4,824 crore, with EBITDA nearly doubling and margin improving to 10.5%.
RITES (-1.45%) posted marginal profit and revenue growth with net profit up 0.7% to ₹91 crore and revenue up 0.8% to ₹490 crore. EBITDA margin expanded to 23.3%.
Godrej Properties (-2.68%) faced a 42% y-o-y net profit decline to ₹350 crore despite 16% revenue growth; profitability was impacted by lower other income and wider operating loss.
