Nifty, Sensex Getting Overbought- Thursday Closing Report

On Thursday, 2353 stocks advanced, 1536 declined and 95 remained unchanged, with an advance decline ratio 1.53 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), indicating positive closing of stocks in broader markets. The trend of the major indices on Thursday’s trading is given in the table below. 
 
 
On NSE, 190 securities advanced and closed at a new 52-week high whereas 9 securities sank to close at their new 52-week lows.  In sectoral indices, Nifty IT, Nifty Auto and Nifty Pharma were among the biggest gainer. Nifty Media, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Energy were among the biggest losers. 
 
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (Mahindra Finance) (+0.81%) has entered into partnership with Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company (Kotak Life) to offer Life Insurance to the Company’s customers. The Company also plans to enter into partnerships and alliances with other Insurance Companies for offering insurance solutions.
 
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) (+2.02%) has secured an order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for its hydrocarbon vertical (L&T Energy) for Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP), off India’s west coast.
 
Aurionpro Solutions (+4.37%) subsidiary -- Aurionpro Payment Solutions (Aurionpro Payments) has received final authorization from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an Online Payment Aggregator under the Payments Settlements Act, 2007, through its payments brand AuroPay.
 
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has slapped a fine of more than Rs1.66 crore on Axis Bank (-1.12%) for failing to put in place a mechanism to detect and report suspicious transactions carried out at one of its branches by creating a fraud account in the name of counter-terrorist commando force NSG. 
 
Kalpataru Projects International (-2.38%) has raised Rs 300 crore by allotment of 30,000 Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of the face value of Rs 1 lakh each on private placement basis.
 
Computer Age Management Services (+1.13%) wholly owned subsidiary-- CAMSRep (CAMS Insurance Repository Services) has launched Bima Central, a one-stop platform for simplifying insurance portfolio management. 
 
Muthoot Capital Services (-0.93%) raised Rs100 crore through the allotment of 10,000 Rated, Listed, Senior, Secured, Redeemable, Taxable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) each having a face value of Rs1,00,000 for a tenor of 24 months from the date of allotment, on private placement basis, in accordance with the terms and conditions as mentioned in the transaction documents executed in connection with the issuance.
 
BLS International Services (+2.09%) wholly owned subsidiary -- BLS International FZE entered into share transfer agreement to acquire 99% equity shares of Balozi Liaison Services, a company incorporated under the law of Egypt, consequent to the said acquisition of shares in share capital of Balozi Liaison Services, Egypt, it will become a step down subsidiary of the company.
 
Amber Enterprises India (-0.34%) acquired additional 4.6% Equity Stake in IL JIN Electronics (India) to raise its stake to 90.2% at a cost of Rs 33.22 crore. 
 
Saksoft (+11.83%) executed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% equity interest in Augmento Labs subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Agreement. Augmento Labs will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company on closure of the transaction.
 
Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, launched flight, bus, movies and events ticket bookings on Samsung Wallet, in partnership with One 97 Communications (+6.35%) that owns the Paytm brand, India’s leading payments and financial services distribution company.
 
Bondada Engineering (+5.00%) received a Letter of Award (LoA) from NLC India for Balance of System (BOS) work for setting up 600MW Grid Connected Solar Power Project including the O&M for three years after SCOD at Khavda, Gujrat amounting to Rs939 crore (Including GST). The said contract is expected to be completed in 15 months.
