On NSE, 106 securities advanced and closed at a new 52-week high whereas 74 securities sank to close at their new 52-week lows. In sectoral indices, Nifty Pharma, and Nifty PSU bank were among the biggest gainers. Nifty Media, Nifty Metal and Nifty FMCG were among the biggest losers.
Adani Group stocks came under heavy selling pressure on Monday, with Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports , Adani Power (-6.88%), Adani Energy Solutions (-10.37%), Adani Total Gas (-2.40%), Adani Green Energy (-7.33%), Ambuja Cements (-2.65%) and ACC (-2.29%) trading lower. The selling came amid MSCI’s latest index reshuffle and changes in stock weightages, which triggered significant portfolio rebalancing by passive and index-tracking funds. Adani Energy Solutions, despite being set to receive substantial MSCI-related inflows, also witnessed sharp volatility during the session.

Marine Electricals (-1.46%) won ₹398.81 crore in new orders for power distribution systems, with deliveries over 6-18 months; transactions were non-related party.
EMS Limited was awarded the highest bidder status for user fee collection and maintenance at Varshamedi Fee Plaza on NH-341, valued at ₹28.39 crore for a one-year contract.
Apollo Pipes (-0.63%) approved up to ₹300 crore investment to enter tiles and ceramics via subsidiaries and planned to raise ₹189.1 crore through issuance of 31 lakh fully convertible warrants on preferential basis.
