Nifty, Sensex End Lower Amid Crude Oil Surge; Small-Cap Indices Outperform: Tuesday Market Report

On Tuesday, 2033 stocks advanced, 2,279 declined and 209 remained unchanged on Bombay Stock Exchange with advance decline ratio of 0.89 indicating a positive closing. The trend of the major indices on Tuesday’s trading is given in the table below. 
 
 
On NSE, 25 securities advanced and closed at a new 52-week high whereas 22 securities sank to close at their new 52-week lows. Nifty Pharma, Nifty IT and Nifty PSU Bank were among the biggest gainers. Nifty FMCG, Nifty Metal and Nifty Infrastructure were among the biggest loser.
 
Adani Green Energy (-0.22%) announced the dismissal with prejudice of DOJ charges against key executives, including Gautam Adani. The company confirmed it was never a party to the proceedings and faced no charges. 
 
HCL Technologies (+0.60%) clarified that investigations found no evidence of a data breach, with the exposed data being old and limited. The company confirmed no impact on client systems or operations and continued monitoring the situation.
 
South West Pinnacle Exploration (-1.54%) secured a ₹6.64 crore contract from CMPDI for coal exploration in Jharkhand. The project was scheduled for completion within 180 days, reinforcing the company’s position in mining exploration.
 
Lemon Tree Hotels (+1.32%) signed licensing agreements to expand its portfolio with new properties in Madurai and Mcleodganj. Both hotels were set to be managed by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels, targeting business and leisure travelers.

Lloyds Enterprises (-2.51%) reported a 74% YoY drop in net profit to ₹58.58 crore, mainly due to a sharp fall in other income, while revenue surged 70% to ₹563.03 crore.
 
Pudumjee Paper Products (-8.08%) saw net profit decline 7% YoY to ₹33.72 crore on flat revenue of ₹202.92 crore, with a narrowing operating margin.
 
Viyash Scientific (-4.46%) doubled its net profit to ₹65.87 crore, supported by 20% revenue growth to ₹946.36 crore and expanded operating margin.
 
Harsha Engineers International (-5.12%) posted flat net profit at ₹37.38 crore despite 25% revenue growth to ₹457.43 crore, as higher depreciation and finance costs offset margin gains.
 
Jyoti Resins and Adhesives (-5.89%) reported a 32% net profit decline to ₹11.75 crore despite 17% revenue growth to ₹87.71 crore due to steep margin contraction.
 
Radhika Jeweltech (+4.27%) grew net profit 26% to ₹22.85 crore on 54% revenue rise to ₹152.54 crore, though margins narrowed.
 
KP Energy posted a marginal 3% net profit rise to ₹26.08 crore despite 137% revenue growth to ₹519.46 crore, held back by margin contraction.
 
Hind Rectifiers (-5.47%) increased net profit 18% to ₹15.09 crore with 10% revenue growth to ₹236.39 crore, though margins narrowed.
 
MRF (-2.04%) reported a 6.52% net profit decline to ₹479.25 crore despite 9.64% revenue growth to ₹8,415.50 crore.
 
Bosch (+3.86%) saw a 37% net profit drop to ₹702 crore on a high base, though revenue rose 22% to ₹5,842 crore.
 
Lumax Auto Technologies (+19.45%) doubled net profit to ₹86.6 crore, with 33% revenue growth to ₹1,363.6 crore.
 
Zee Entertainment (-3.03%) net profit fell 47% to ₹76 crore despite 4.5% revenue rise to ₹1,908 crore.
 
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) (-0.29%) posted an 18.5% net profit increase to ₹159 crore with 10.5% revenue growth to ₹4,321 crore.
 
Venky’s (-2.05%) net profit surged 216% to ₹49.99 crore on 29.2% revenue growth to ₹1,118.38 crore.
 
Unichem Laboratories (+13.14%) swung to a ₹41.47 crore net profit from a loss, with 20% revenue growth to ₹632.62 crore.
 
Royal Orchid Hotels (-3.40%) net profit declined 39% to ₹6.79 crore despite 36% revenue growth to ₹107.21 crore.
 
Zydus Lifesciences (+6.43%) reported a 35.9% net profit drop to ₹939.8 crore despite 22% revenue growth to ₹8,017 crore.
 
Pyramid Technoplast (-1.21%) posted a 32% net profit increase to ₹10.44 crore on 36% revenue growth to ₹222.49 crore.
 
Siemens Energy consolidated net profit soared to ₹2,143 crore from ₹423 crore, with revenue up 14.8% to ₹4,714 crore.
 
Websol Energy System (-5.00%) reported 70.3% revenue growth to ₹373 crore, 21.4% EBITDA rise to ₹126 crore, and 15.8% PAT growth to ₹78 crore.
