That said, my sincere concern is that the bank must now act on the verdict promptly and honor his rightful claims—special PF, gratuity, pension, backwages, promotion benefits, and full reinstatement of service benefits from the date of illegal termination. Bank should not drag matter to the Supreme Court prolonging justice for years, I truly hope they do not repeat that pattern here. For a 90-year-old former officer, further litigation would be an unnecessary ordeal. The bank should respect the High Court’s judgment, close the matter, and let Mr. Narayanan finally receive what is legally his.
