HDFC Bank Ltd reported a first quarter net profit of Rs811.7 crore compared to Rs606.11 crore for the quarter ended June 2009.
During the period its total revenues, including interest revenues, increased to Rs5,360 crore from Rs5,136.75 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2009.
On Monday, HDFC Bank shares closed 0.6% up at Rs2,050 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.1% down at 17,928 points.
