Fiem Industries Ltd said it has performed the foundation stone laying ceremony for establishing its eighth plant at Industrial Area Tapukara, in Alwar district of Rajasthan.
The company will set up facilities of injection molding and paint shop in this plant. The commercial production in the plant is scheduled to commence in the last quarter of current financial year. The company's principal activity is to manufacture automotive parts. It manufactures automotive lighting and signalling equipments and rear view mirrors.
On Monday, Fiem Industries shares closed 17% up at Rs175 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.11% down at 17,441 points.
