ATC Coin Investment Fraud: ED Attaches ₹55.5 Crore Assets of Jewrias from Mumbai
Moneylife Digital Team 14 July 2026
The directorate of enforcement (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth ₹55.50 crore in connection with an alleged cryptocurrency investment fraud involving the self-created digital token 'ATC Coin', accusing the promoters of collecting about ₹84 crore from investors by promising high and assured returns.

The attachment was carried out by the ED's Mumbai zonal office under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

According to the agency, the attached assets belong to Jewria Services Club India Pvt Ltd, Viva Card Retail Services Pvt Ltd, Subhashchandra Ramratan Jewria and Chirag Ramratan Jewria. The assets include 11 commercial galas (shops), four residential flats in Mumbai and balances held in bank accounts.

ED said its investigation found that these assets were acquired using proceeds of crime generated through funds collected from the public in the name of the cryptocurrency 'ATC Coin'.

The money laundering investigation was initiated in 2021 based on a first information report (FIR) registered by the economic offences wing (EOW) of Mumbai police against Jewria Services Club, ATC Coin Ltd, Subhashchandra and Chirag Jewria.

The agency said the EOW has subsequently filed a charge-sheet in the case.

According to ED, the investigation has revealed that the Jewria brothers portrayed themselves and their companies as promoters of the cryptocurrency 'ATC Coin' and persuaded members of the public to invest by making representations and assurances of high and assured returns.

The agency alleged that around ₹84 crore was mobilised from investors and deposited into the bank account of Jewria Services Club.

ED further alleged that the funds were subsequently diverted through multiple bank accounts belonging to the accused individuals and their associated entities, including Viva Card Retail Services.

According to the investigation, a portion of the allegedly diverted funds was used to acquire four residential flats and 11 commercial galas, all located in Mumbai.

ED said these properties, along with bank account balances, have now been provisionally attached as they are suspected to represent proceeds of crime under the PMLA.

The agency added that further investigation into the alleged money laundering and investment fraud is continuing.
