Bob Pain Joins Investors Trust Assurance as Managing Director

George Town, Cayman Islands (Business Wire (Business Wire India))

Investors Trust Assurance SPC (“ITA”) announced today that Bob Pain has joined its Board of Directors as Managing Director. With over 25 years experience within the financial services industry, Mr. Pain initially worked at Target Group and AXA in various sales, business development and marketing roles, and in 1991 joined Friends Provident to set up its Agency Division. After holding a number of senior roles in Customer Services and Business Process Outsourcing, Bob joined Friends Provident International in 2005 as Sales Director and a member of its Board of Directors. Since 2011, Bob has been the Deputy Chair of the Association of International Life Offices (“AILO”), prior to which he chaired AILO’s Sales Committee for seven years.

Based in London, Bob’s key role will be the global business development outside of the Americas, with particular emphasis on building a sustainable business in Asia, as well as looking at new markets in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. In addition to these responsibilities, Bob will be ITA's representative in AILO and the main liaison with all of ITA’s international business relationships, including but not limited to regulators, business partners, trade associations, and the media.

Upon his appointment, Bob said: "I am delighted to be joining ITA as Managing Director after 21 years at Friends. I knew the minute I met the team that this was the company I wanted to continue my career with. They closely align to my personal values and beliefs and along with a terrific proposition, including leading edge technology, offer a perfect combination to achieve success in the future. I look forward to building a sustainable and profitable business that always puts its staff and the customer first."

William Zelaya, Executive Managing Director of ITA, commented on Bob Pain’s appointment: "We are very pleased Bob has joined ITA as Managing Director as he has a proven track record for growing businesses, has excellent leadership qualities and is well connected in the international financial services market. We are confident he will add a great deal of value to the Board of Directors and ITA as a whole."
