Zylog reported net sales of Rs513.59 crore for the June 2011 quarter against Rs463.38 crore
Zylog Systems Ltd said that its net profit was at Rs44.97 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2011 against Rs35.27 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2010.
The company has reported net sales of Rs513.59 crore for the June 2011 quarter against Rs463.38 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. During the same period, the company's EPS stood at Rs27.34 compared to Rs21.45.
In the late afternoon, Zylog shares were trading at around Rs400 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, 1.2% down from the previous close.
The growth was led by strong performance across Asia and USA
Bartronics India Ltd, a bar code and digital identity technology provider, has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs31 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2011, a rise of 37% over the corresponding quarter last year.
Consolidated revenues stood at Rs262 crore, which grew by 61% year on year. EBIDTA (earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortisation) was put at 23% for the quarter. Basic EPS (earnings per share) for the quarter grew by 37% to Rs9.07 over comparable EPS last year.
Sudhir Rao, managing director said, "The first quarter of fiscal 2012 witnessed a robust growth to the business with revenues growing by almost 61.2% and profit after tax showing a uptick of 37.2% increase over the corresponding quarter last year. The growth was led by strong performance across Asia and USA. Our margins also showed a reasonable growth compared to the last quarter."
He added, "The company also added 10 new projects during the quarter in the financial inclusion business segment. The total number of projects won has gone up to 30 and the number of villages being covered by the company has gone up to 60,000 approximately."
In the late afternoon, Bartronics shares were trading at around Rs54.60 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, 5.41% up from the previous close.
