Suzlon Energy Ltd said its China-based subsidiary Suzlon Energy (Tianjin) Ltd won a 48.3MW order from a wind power producer. No financial details were provided.
The contract includes 23 sets of S88 (LTV-50Hz) turbines with a rated power of 2.1 MW. The turbines will be delivered in FY 2010-11 to the wind farm in Inner Mongolia, Suzlon said in a regulatory filing.
On Friday, Suzlon Energy shares ended 0.2% up at Rs57 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.9% down at 17,574 points.
Bangalore-based GMR Infrastructure Ltd said its consortium with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) won a bid to build, operate, modernise and expand the Male International Airport (MIA) in Maldives. No financial details were provided.
MIA includes the sea-plane port. The mandate is for the next 25 years. The Maldives government had invited three parties, namely, Aeroport De Paris, France-TAV, Turkey consortium; Zurich Airport-GVK consortium and the GMR-MAHB consortium to take part in the bid process.
