Mumbai-based Unity Infraprojects Ltd said it secured contracts of about to Rs412 crore for construction related works.
The first contract is from the Director General of the Married Accommodation Project for construction of dwelling units. The contract worth Rs299.24 crore is to be completed in 27 months. The second contract is for construction of North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy at NEIGRIHMS in Shillong. The contract valued at Rs45.52 crore is to be completed in 18 months.
The third contract is from Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL) with a completion period of 18 months for construction of new office complex inside the Drug Controller Office Premises. The project is valued at Rs39.34 crore. The company received a contract for Rs28.22 crore for interior works from External Affairs Ministry in respect of Embassy of India complex at Kathmandu, Nepal.
On Friday, Unity Infraprojects shares ended 7.3% higher at Rs111 on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.3% up at 17,570 points.
Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) said its buildings and factories unit won orders worth Rs1,440 crore for construction of residential towers, township and factory buildings.
L&T has secured new orders of about to Rs1,294 crore for the construction of residential towers and township from various developers. Majority of the above orders have been secured on a design and build basis. Orders worth Rs146 crore have been secured from various clients including add on orders from the ongoing factory jobs.
On Friday, L&T shares gained 1.3% to Rs1,798 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.3% up at 17,570 points.
Secunderabad-based XL Telecom and Energy Ltd said it won two orders worth Rs52.5 crore for supply of export of solar photovoltaic panels to Europe.
One of the customers is an EPC company in Italy from whom this is the trail order. The second order is for supply of the popular 230 Wp size panels, the Czech order is for supply of 200 Wp panels, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On Friday, XL Telecom & Energy shares declined 1.5% to Rs35 on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.3% up at 17,570 points.
