Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (TKM), a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corp and the Kirloskar Group, said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Bank to extend auto retail finance to their customers.
TKM dealers will promote the schemes to provide various finance options to its customers through all branches of Indian Bank, it said in a release.
On Thursday, Indian Bank shares closed 1.4% up at Rs240 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.2% up at 17,909 points.
Hyderabad-based MIC Electronics Ltd said it will launch a set of five new light-emitting diode (LED) based products categories with 15 variants. The categories of LED include LED tube and bulb, LED angel, LED fittings for offices, LED fittings for hospitality and LED fittings for outdoor applications.
The company said it is also planning to invest Rs170 crore to launch these products as well as capex, which would result in a production level of Rs350 crore in a full year, MIC Electronics said in a regulatory filing.
On Thursday, MIC Electronics shares closed 2% up at Rs39 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.2% up at 17,909 points.
LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LIC HF) reported a first quarter net profit of Rs212.01 crore compared with Rs123.83crore for the quarter ended June 2009.
During the period its total revenues increased to Rs1,014.93 from Rs781.86 crore same quarter a year ago.
On Thursday, LIC HF shares ended 7.2% higher to Rs1,073 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.2% up at 17,909 points.
