Tata Communications Ltd said it appointed Laurie Bowen as its president of sales and strategy for global data and mobility.
Responsible for all sales and marketing globally (excluding wholesale voice), Ms Brown will lead the global carrier and enterprise solutions teams to devise go-to-market strategies and identify opportunities to enhance the solution portfolio, it said in a release.
On Tuesday, Tata Communications shares ended 0.7% up to Rs275 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex closed 0.2% higher at 18,114 points.
Take Solutions Ltd said its unit Take Supply Chain has introduced an advance version of its OneSCM online supplier management platform. The platform features a multi-tier, multi-tenant, software as a service (SaaS) architecture designed for mid to large sized manufacturers and distributors.
"OneSCM benefits its users through simplified on boarding and intuitive use. With flexibility to apply freight and logistics cost controls and the simplicity to on board thousands of suppliers per week, OneSCM provides a platform to engage all suppliers for a multitude of supplier management activities," said S Sridharan, managing director, Take Solutions.
On Tuesday, Take Solutions shares increased 9% to Rs37 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex closed 0.2% higher at 18,114 points.
Bafna Pharmaceuticals Ltd said its first quarter net profit increased 66.5% to Rs159.5 lakh from Rs95.8 lakh same quarter last year.
For the quarter ended June 2010, its total revenues rose 56.6% to Rs2,145.3 lakh from Rs1,370 lakh for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
On Tuesday, Bafna Pharma shares ended 1.8% down to Rs41 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex closed 0.2% higher at 18,114 points.
