Steel Strips Wheels wins orders from two European companies

Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has received orders from two companies in Germany and UK. SSWL will export nearly 5,000 wheels to these companies. The business will earn foreign exchange to the tune of Rs30 lakh, said the company in a statement.

On Wednesday, SSWL shares closed 1.5% up at Rs218 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex ended 1.2% up at 18,257 points.

Tantia Constructions wins contract worth Rs50.5 crore

Tantia Constructions Ltd has received a contract worth Rs50.5 crore from the Metro Railway, Kolkata.

The contract includes execution of civil engineering works between Noapara and Dum Dum cantonment, said the company in a regulatory filing. 

On Wednesday, Tantia Constructions shares jumped 14.2% to Rs94 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex ended 1.2% up at 18,257 points.

Arshiya International launches its Free Trade Warehousing Zone in Panvel

Arshiya International Ltd, a supply-chain and logistics infrastructure solutions company, said it launched its free trade warehousing zone (FTWZ), a first of its kind in India, at Panvel near Mumbai.

The 165-acre facility will be operational over two phases. The facility will employ over 25,000 people at full capacity and is expected to cost around Rs1,500 crore, said the company in a regulatory filing.

On Wednesday, Arshiya International shares gained 3.7% to Rs292 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex ended 1.2% up at 18,257 points.
