Eros International Q1 net profit up 60% at Rs23 crore

Consolidated total income increases to Rs162.24 crore from Rs127.97 crore year-on-year

Eros International Media Ltd has said that its consolidated net profit rose 60.3% to Rs23.33 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2011 against Rs14.55 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's consolidated total income increases 26.8% to Rs162.24 crore from Rs127.97 crore year-on-year. In Q1 FY12, Eros International successfully released a total of 19 films across languages and genres.

In the late afternoon, Eros shares were trading at around Rs205.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, 0.34% up from the previous close.

Zylog Systems Q1 net profit up at Rs44.97 crore

Zylog Systems Ltd said that its net profit was at Rs44.97 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2011 against Rs35.27 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2010.

The company has reported net sales of Rs513.59 crore for the June 2011 quarter against Rs463.38 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. During the same period, the company's EPS stood at Rs27.34 compared to Rs21.45.

In the late afternoon, Zylog shares were trading at around Rs400 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, 1.2% down from the previous close.
