PBA Infrastructure Ltd said it won an order worth Rs252 crore from GVK Deoli Kota Expressway Pvt Ltd.
The scope of work includes construction-related works on Bundi-Kota Section of National Highway 12 on Kota Bypass in Rajasthan, the company said in a regulatory filing.
On Thursday, PBA Infra shares gained 4% to Rs85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex declined 0.4% to 19,861 points.
Ratings agency CRISIL Ltd said its unit bought Pipal Research Corpo, a knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) services provider for $12.75 million.
CRISIL's, KPO division, Irevna provides high-end research and analytical services to investment banks, insurance companies, asset management firms and other financial institutions. Irevna provides its services from Chennai, Mumbai, Buenos Aires, and Wroclaw (Poland), and is shortly setting up a research centre in China.
The Irevna-Pipal combination will be uniquely positioned in the high-end analytical off shoring space with the widest range of services, geographic locations and customer diversity. Pipal's services, clients and delivery locations are complementary to Irevna's, enabling the combine to strengthen its leadership in the KPO industry, said CRISIL in a press release.
On Thursday, CRISIL shares ended 0.3% up at Rs6,150 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex declined 0.4% to 19,861 points.
IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects (IVRCL) said it has won a project worth Rs750 crore for four laning and improvement of Karanji-Wani-Ghuggus-Chandrapur Road, Maharashtra State Highway 6 & 7 in Yavatmal and Chandrapur district. The company has won the contract from Public Works Department of Maharashtra.
The project will be completed on design, build, finance, operation and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The state government will provide a viability gap funding of Rs232 crore. The project construction is slated to be completed within 24 months, IVRCL said in a regulatory filing.
