IT and BPO services provider, Patni Computer Systems Ltd said it appointed Apoorva Singh as its senior vice president and global head for infrastructure management services (IMS).
Mr Singh will be spearheading the IMS vertical along with Patni’s customer interaction services (CIS) division relating to technology-based support business, it said in a regulatory filing.
On Tuesday, Patni shares declined 1.4% down to Rs518 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.3% down at 17,878 points.
Chennai-based KCP Sugar and Industries Corp Ltd reported over two-fold jump in its full year net profit to Rs24.3 crore against the net profit of Rs11.7 crore a year ago. During the year to end-March, its total revenues increased to Rs332.1 crore from Rs279.6 crore a year ago, the company said in a statement.
On Tuesday, KCP Sugar shares ended 0.3% up at Rs20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.3% down at 17,878 points.
Ahmedabad-based Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd (LPL) said it will invest Rs50 crore to set up a plant which would be in accordance to US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines.
It has planned to achieve the top line of Rs200 crore with a bottom line Rs20 crore year with earning per share (EPS) of Rs17 a share for the current financial year, LPL said in a regulatory filing.
LPL said it is strengthening its international business by way of setting up FDA plant for oral formulation for regulatory markets like US, UK, Europe, Brazil and South Africa.
On Tuesday, Lincoln Pharma shares jumped 11.9% to Rs38 on the BSE, while the Sensex ended at 0.3% down at 17,878 points.
