Next Dalai Lama may be a woman

The 77-year-old monk said the world is facing a moral crisis of inequality and suffering and needs leaders who can bring compassion to their post and in that respect, biologically, females have more potential

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has said that his successor may be a woman as women have the all qualities needed in leaders.

 

Speaking with reporters, ahead of his 10-day tour of Australia, the Nobel Peace laureate said, “If the circumstances are such that a female Dalai Lama is more useful, then automatically a female Dalai Lama will come”.

 

The spiritual leader is scheduled to speak in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Darwin.

The Union Cabinet has cleared the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013, however, it is not yet available in the public domain for reasons best known to the government. The only Bill available on the web is a draft of 2011

The real estate sector is a critical driver of economic growth and one of the messiest in India. It is smothered in red tape, yet has the biggest black money problem. As we all know, every politician has resisted creating a real-estate regulator for the past two decades. Even today, we have a funny situation. All the excitement created by the cabinet clearance for the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013 turned out to have a big catch. The Press Information Bureau (PIB) put out a detailed press release but no Bill. Even as of today, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, shows the draft of the Bill modified in December 2011, on its website.

 

According to reports, 22 states had given their approval to the Bill while five states wanted certain amendments. These changes have been incorporated in the Bill cleared by the Cabinet. Chhattisgarh is the only state to still oppose the Bill, the reports say.

Not futile to pursue online vendors who fail to deliver promised goods and services. Chitra Vittal from Bangalore wins out-of-court settlement from online vendor of cakes

Far too many of us have felt cheated by online vendors but have let it go because of the apparent futility of fighting for our rights. However, Chitra Vittal’s story tells us that it is indeed possible to win out-of-court settlements with online vendors with the help of consumer rights organizations like the International Consumer Rights Protection Council (ICRPC).
 

Chitra Vittal from Bangalore ordered a combo package including cake from Flowers n Cakes to India, an online florist and gift store that guarantees same day delivery and the “delivery of fresh products – always.” Flowers n Cakes to India failed to deliver the product on the specified day, and when they finally did deliver it the next day, the cake was “smashed up, made of cheap wine” and of a quality that was entirely unacceptable to the customer.
 

When Ms Vittal attempted to complain about the non-delivery of the product on the scheduled day, she found that the customer care numbers displayed on the website were not attended. She managed to find contact details of their Hyderabad-based sub-vendor, only to be told that they had only received their orders from Flowers n Cakes to India the morning after the scheduled date.
 

Five days later, Ms Vittal complained about the delayed delivery of a substandard product over a chat conversation with the company representative, Rahul, who, according to her was rude and paid no heed to her complaints.
 

Ms Vittal then approached Arun Saxena, President of ICRPC, which runs a consumer helpline. Mr Saxena sent an email to the vendor on behalf of Ms Vittal, informing them that they had conducted Unfair Trade Practices under Section 2 (1) (r) of the Consumer Protection Act. If the vendor did not refund the full amount to Ms Vittal and pay Rs50,000 as compensation for her losses, harassment and inconvenience, Mr Saxena said, severe action would be initiated against them, seeking higher compensation of Rs1 lakh with the legal costs.
 

What ensued was a series of emails exchanged among Mr Saxena, Ms Vittal and Flowers n Cakes to India, where the vendor attempted to seek refuge in its disclaimer against “unavoidable delays”. Ms Vittal felt that the vendors entirely ignored the accusation of no-response to complaints and were repeatedly rude to her. The emails reveal comments from the vendor to the tune of “If she doesn’t understand simple English language then it’s not our responsibility” and “she is the only one who we can call Fake”.  
 

When Mr Saxena finally said that the matter was headed to consumer court and they would have to appear in person to justify their position, Flowers n Cakes to India beat a hasty retreat. With a sudden and radical change of tone, it sent a politely apologetic email to Ms Vittal, with the promise of a full refund on the same day.

Onlineshopping FRAUD sites are increasing, but customers are not aware of the fraudness. I would request the media to take initiative to public in their sites and papers so that common people will be warned about such sites. For example WWW.DHAMALSHOP.COM is a fraud site and cheating people by accepting the the money through online money transfer, and thereafter NO delivery of the product nor reach them, because their contact and email id are all wrong. People ordering daily because of their cheap offers. I would request please post publicity on all medias so that people will be educated. If any law is there in India to block this kind of sites will be a great relief for those people who have been cheated ,

It is heard regularly that some online shopping companies are cheating their buyers . They understand that only 10% out of 100% of forged shipped packets for people in India accepts online shopped packet and opens packet before camera for witness. They refund them, but get benefited from those who has no witness. They simply says that they have delivered proper article. It is not possible for a common buyer to go for judicial remedy for a small amount shopping. But overall, such type of fraud pay them in millions. They also possesses a legal department to deal with any dispute. If any one goes for online shopping, one should try at least once in local market. Many times we pay more than market price. It is better to buy any product from local retail counter with proper retail invoice. Many times, it is seen that they offer manufacturer warranty, but in case of warranty, the manufacturer service center denies to give services on online purchased articles. Many companies gives information time to time that they do not take responsibility of online shopped items. 10 Tips for buying online –

(1) Be Aware from frauds. Do not accept loose packets/ tampered packet /packet with proper weight of article.
(2) Always accept online shopped packet before camera showing packet from every side and open in presence of courier delivery person.
(3) Normally the online shopped packet delivery done while you are not present at home. Other family members accepts packet. Either tell them not to accept packet or instruct them how to receive packet in front of camera. Mobile camera is present almost to each hand.
(4) If found forged, keep all the video clippings safely and report the online company immediately.
(5) If any courier-side fraud found, buyer is not responsible for loss and damages and the company and their partners are responsible.
(6) Always record phone conversations with online companies. They can assure for refund but refuse to refund then after.
(7) Do not listen their template reply like "Sorry for inconvenience occurred" and asks for refund immediately.
(8) Don't worry about their prestige and don't pay your sympathy, immediately upload videos showing fraud and mail the links to the fraud company. They take cognizance in such a case.
(9) Post such cheat/fraud to social sites immediately.
(10) If the fraud company, denies to refund, be strict and move for judicial remedy with claim of loss and damages. The fraud companies become millionaire with our hard earned money.

I have made online payment to Shoptohub Group (shoptohub.com) of Rs. 9999/- through PayU money on 26.04.2016 (Payment Id : 102590836, Merchant Trx id : 113983-102590836) and now more than 2 months passed but till date, Dell Laptop (Dell Inspiron 3542 Y561929HIN9 Core i5) has not delivered to my address by shoptohub.com. I have made request to shoptohub.com through email many times regarding delivery of ordered product but they are not responding to my email.

Before making of online payment and placement of order for the said product i.e. Dell Laptop (Dell Inspiron 3542 Y561929HIN9 Core i5), shoptohub.com executive Mr. Sameer Malhotra has committed over telephone that the Dell Laptop (Dell Inspiron 3542 Y561929HIN9 Core i5) will be delivered to my address within 4-5 days but the same has not been delivered by shoptohub.com till date. I have kept blind faith on shoptohub.com executive Mr. Sameer Malhotra and made the online payment of Rs. 9999/- through PayU money for Dell Laptop (Dell Inspiron 3542 Y561929HIN9 Core i5) on the basis of commitment of Mr. Sameer Malhotra. Actually I used to shop from shopclue which is online shopping app.but one day my order got cancel from their end due to processing delay, and refund for my cash was initiated on 4th June n expected date of refund to show in my account was 18th of June but they haven't refunded yet n whenever I called up to the customer care No. they ask me to provide my bank statement, even I have provided they ask me to wait 48 hrs to process, I waited but still they haven't. I have to call them after every 48hrs,still they used to "I apologized for the inconvenience n ask me to wait for again 48hhrs to initiate it. They give me this response wheneven I call up. Now I m tired calling n make me very upset. So I would like to request you guys to give me a suggestion to handle them.. I ll really appreciate your help..

Dear concern,
I had taken vu led tv from flipkart, which i got on 10th may, then on 14th may technician came from flipkart to install the tv, but tv was not working.
From that day i am daily calling to flipkart for taking back his product and they always say that tv wll b picked by tommorow.
But till today date no courier person has came to take back the tv, neither i get my fund back of rs40000.
Plz help me to take my fund back.
I have all the mails which i daily get from flipkart, i have a bill also.
