Infrastructure and realty development company Marg Ltd said its net profit for the first quarter rose to Rs11.3 crore from Rs11.1 crore in the same quarter last year.
During the June 2010 quarter, its total revenues increased to Rs174.8 crore from Rs122.7 crore, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On Thursday, Marg shares fell 5.8% to Rs173 on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex closed flat at 18,073 points.
Hyderabad-based Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd has won orders worth Rs673 crore.
The company received two orders worth Rs254 crore from the Commissionerate of Health, Ahmedabad, for construction of hospital buildings. The work is expected to be completed in 30 months.
It has received an order worth Rs194 crore from the Indian Oil Corp Ltd for piping related works at Orissa. The project is expected to be completed in 20 months. It has got an order, worth Rs87 crore from the Bangalore Development Authority, for construction of two level grade separators to be completed over 15 months, said the company in a regulatory filing.
The company won an order, worth Rs73 crore from the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, for upgradation of ISBT, Kashmere Gate, to be completed over five months. It has also won an order worth Rs65 crore from government of Tripura and Agartala for construction of various hostel buildings, to be completed over 24 months.
On Thursday, Nagarjuna Construction shares ended 0.03% up to Rs161 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed flat at 18,073 points.
IT services company Mindteck (India) Ltd said its net profit for the first quarter increased to Rs2.2 crore from Rs0.7 crore for the same quarter last fiscal. In the June 2010 quarter, the Bengaluru-based company's total revenues increased to Rs13.8 crore from Rs12.5 crore.
On Thursday, Mindteck shares gained 0.8% to Rs43 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed flat at 18,073 points.
