Campa Cola Society: Not Averse to Any Relief New Govt May Offer
The Supreme Court (SC), once again, offered a glimmer of hope for the beleaguered residents of Campa Cola Society in Worli (Mumbai) where the fate of over 100 illegal flats hangs in the balance.

An SC bench comprising Justices SJ Mukhopadhaya and Sharad Bobde said it would “not be averse to any relief that the new government in Maharashtra may offer the residents, if it does.”

The residents’ lawyer, Kamini Jaiswal, sought an adjournment when the matter regarding their plea for a clarification of the earlier apex court order came up for a hearing since their senior counsel, Shanti Bhushan, was unable to appear in court on 27 October 2014.
