IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd said its consortium with Ramky Infrastructure Ltd received a letter of award (LoA) by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for four laning of Jorabat-Shillong (Barapani) section of NH 40 in Assam and Meghalaya.
The project is on annuity basis with a concession period of 20 years including construction period of three years. The estimated cost of the project is Rs536 crore and the semi-annual annuity for the project is Rs72.5 crore, it said in a regulatory filing.
On Friday, IL&FS Transportation shares gained 2% to Rs306 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.3% up at 17,955 points.
Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd reported a first quarter net profit of Rs63.7 crore compared to Rs55.3crore for the quarter ended June 2009. During the period its total revenues increased to Rs975.7 crore from Rs790.34 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
On Friday, Chambal Fertilisers shares closed 1.5% higher at Rs67 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 0.3% up at 17,955 points.
Chemical company BASF India Ltd said its first quarter net profit rose to Rs48.9 crore from Rs41 crore a year ago. During the first quarter to end-June, its total revenues jumped to Rs663.6 crore from Rs384.2 crore, same period previous year, it said in a regulatory filing.
On Friday, BASF shares closed 0.3% up at Rs459 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex also ended 0.3% up at 17,955 points.
