Godrej Properties Ltd, the real-estate arm of the Godrej Group, said it sold over 200 apartments in two days of the launch of Godrej Frontier, near Gurgaon. The project, Located at Sector 80 of Gurgaon, was launched on 23rd October.
Godrej Frontier consists of three and four BHK apartments ranging from 1,700 sq ft to 2,200 sq ft. The project has good connectivity with Delhi and its satellite towns through national highway-8, Godrej Properties said in a release.
Godrej Properties' in joint venture with Frontier Home Developers Pvt Ltd is developing the project.
On Tuesday, Godrej Properties shares gained 2.2% at Rs738 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex declined 0.4% to 20,221 points.
Steel producer, JSW Steel Ltd reported a 15.8% higher second quarter net profit on 29% jump in revenues.
For the quarter to end-September, the steel producer said its net profit increased to Rs373 crore from Rs322 crore while its total revenues rose 29% to Rs6,135 crore from Rs4,756 crore a year ago.
On Tuesday, JSW Steel shares ended 1% down at Rs1,225 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex declined 0.4% to 20,221 points.
Agro-chemical company United Phosphorus Ltd said its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended 30 September 2010 increased 12.9% to Rs114 crore from Rs101 crore same quarter last year.
During the quarter to end-September its total revenues increased 10% to Rs1,280 crore from Rs1,161 crore, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On Tuesday, United Phosphorus shares shed 7.2% to Rs200 on BSE, while the benchmark Sensex declined 0.4% to 20,221 points.
