The Supreme Court on Thursday directed Subrata Roy-led Sahara Group to reveal the source of Rs22,000 crore which it claimed to have paid its investors.
The apex court also warned the Sahara group in case it fails to provide the information. “We will direct probe by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and registrar of companies (RoC), if the group fails to provide information,’’ the Supreme Court said.
"You never came out with the truth during the last two years," the apex court said, "Don’t think that court is helpless''.
The Supreme Court also said its order barring Sahara chief Subrata Roy from leaving the country will continue.
