Logistic and transportation software solution provider Four Soft Ltd said it has signed a deal with Dubai-based Aratrans Transport and Logistics Services. No financial details were provided.
According to the contract, Four Soft will initially deliver its global freight forwarding (4S eTrans) and contract warehousing (4S eLog) applications on software-as-a-service (SAAS) model. Four Soft is also betting on SAAS with most of its products customised to be offered over the cloud computing model.
The company plans to use cloud computing model as one of the engines for its future growth, Four Soft said in a regulatory filing.
On Monday, Four Soft shares ended 3% up to Rs22 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex gained 0.2% to 20,475 points.
Petron Engineering Construction Ltd said it won a service order worth Rs164 crore from Adani Infra (India) Ltd for Unit 1 and 2 of 1,320MW Kawai Thermal Power Project, at Baran in Rajasthan.
The scope of work includes erection, testing, commissioning and performance guarantee tests of boiler and its auxiliaries along with critical piping, Petron Engineering said in a statement.
On Monday, Petron Engineering shares ended 1.9% up at Rs444 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex gained 0.2% to 20,475 points.
Prime Focus Ltd, a visual entertainment services group, said it won orders worth $11 million from two Hollywood studios for 2D to 3D stereoscopic conversion work. The project is to be executed in next three months, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Prime Focus North America, a 100% subsidiary of the group, has filed an application for patenting its trademark technology 'View D' which converts 2D images into 3D.
This conversion process is used for new releases, catalogue, library titles, advertisements, television programmes and other 2D content. Prime Focus has ramped up its existing facilities in North America, UK and India.
On Monday, Prime Focus shares climbed 4.7% to Rs736 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex gained 0.2% to 20,475 points.
