Bartronics India Ltd today said its net profit for the September 2010 quarter declined to Rs16.5 crore from Rs35.2 crore in the same quarter last year. Its total revenue for the second quarter was Rs224.1 crore as against Rs174.8 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal. On Monday, Bartronics declined 3.4% to Rs104 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.76% up at 20,309.69 points.
Drug firm Ind-Swift Laboratories today reported an increase of 74% in its net profit to Rs21.7 crore for the second quarter ended September 2010.
The company's net profit for the same period last fiscal was Rs12.5 crore, Ind-Swift Labs said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total operating income of the company for the second quarter was Rs212.8 crore as against Rs196.5 crore for the same period in the previous fiscal. For the six months ended September 2010 this year the net profit of the company stood at Rs36.6 crore, as against Rs23.8 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.
Total revenues of the company for the half year period this year stood at Rs412.9 crore compared to Rs366.8 crore in the same period last fiscal. On Monday, Ind-Swift Laboratories rose 0.8% to Rs147 on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.76% up at 20,309.69 points.
Supreme Infrastructure Ltd has reported a 52% rise in net profit at Rs12.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 2010, compared to Rs8.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company’s Q2 FY10-11 income stood at Rs165.7 crore — up by 47% compared to Rs112.7 crore in the corresponding period the previous year. Its EPS rose to Rs8.51 up from Rs5.94 in the corresponding period in the previous year, the company said in a statement.
On Monday, Supreme Infra declined 0.3% to Rs271 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.76% up at 20,309.69 points.
