State-run lender Bank of India said it raised Tier- II capital through issue of upper Tier-II Capital bonds of Rs1,000 crore. The coupon rate is 8.48% per annum and tenure is 15 years with a call option after 10 years.
On Tuesday, Bank of India's shares gained 1.2% to Rs336 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.4% up at 17,412 points.
India's largest software company Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) said it collaborated with Europe-based Xynteo to create solutions for a low carbon economy. These solutions will be initially built and deployed in the Nordic market.
The partnership will look at finding new ways to help companies increase productivity, while reducing CO2 emissions along their entire value chains-right through the final consumer, TCS said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On Tuesday, TCS shares ended 1.9% down at Rs765 on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.4% up at 17,412 points
Animation and gaming company DQ Entertainment Ltd said it signed an exclusive broadcasting agreement with Sun TV Network Ltd to provide animated content.
Under the agreement DQ Entertainment will provide over 117 hours of international animated programmes co-produced with the major European, Canadian and US partners to Sun TV. The programmes includes four renowned properties, namely; Caspers Scare School (3D TV series), Benjamin Bear Season 1 (TV series), Leonardo (TV series) and Pet Pals (TV series), the company said in a regulatory filing.
According to the agreement, Sun TV has the rights to broadcast these programmes in four languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam across their extensive network in India, Sri Lanka and many other countries with Indian diaspora.
On Tuesday, DQ Entertainment's shares ended 3.7% higher at Rs99 and Sun TV Network closed 0.8% up at Rs411 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 0.4% up at 17,412 points.
