Bafna Pharma receives MHRA approval for Clonazepam tablets

Chennai-based Bafna Pharmaceuticals Ltd said it received site approval from UK-based Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agencyfor its products Clonazepam 0.5 mg and Clonazepam 2 mg tablets.

Clonazepam belongs to a group of drugs called benzodiazepines.
Benzodiazepines are medications that help relieve nervousness, tension, symptoms of anxiety, and some types of seizures by slowing the central nervous system.

On Tuesday, Bafna Pharma shares closed 2.9% down at Rs47 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 1% up at 17,614 points.

Thomas Cook opens counters at Delhi International Airport’s new terminal

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, a travel and financial services company, said it launched nine foreign exchange and travel counters at the newly opened Terminal 3 in the New Delhi International Airport.

The one stop shop counters by Thomas Cook will not only offer foreign exchange services to the passengers but also all the products and services such as insurance, air and rail tickets, domestic and international travel packages and hotel bookings.

On Tuesday, Thomas Cook shares closed 3.3% up at Rs63 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 1% up at 17,614 points.

Beckons Industries in deal with Jilani International for algae technology

Chandigarh-based Beckons Industries Ltd said it signed an agreement with Hong Kong-based Jilani International for transfer of its algae technology to south Asian countries such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and British Indian Ocean territory. No financial details were provided.

According to the agreement, Jilani will also participate financially in the promotion of this technology. Algae oil is the main feedstock to produce green biofuel (biodiesel and bioject fuel). Beckons Technology will not only help in producing alternate sources of energy, but also generate tax free carbon credits and reduce the threat of global warming, the company said in a regulatory filing.

On Tuesday, Beckons Industries shares closed 3.3% down at Rs7 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the Sensex ended at 1% up at 17,614 points.

pls find out the product line of jilani intnl and see if the tie-up is compatible to its existing line of importer/exporter of furniture etc . one wonders how ur team repro this without even a internet check which would have provided the requisite info
