ARSS Infrastructure Projects wins two project orders

Bhubaneswar-based ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd said it won two orders for projects in Orissa and Punjab. The company received a work order from Rayagada (R&B) Division in Orissa worth Rs50.86 crore. 

The company has also secured a road project from Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) worth Rs80.32 crore for the construction of a 200 feet wide road from RVB Junction to National Highway (NH) 64.

On Wednesday, ARSS Infra's shares ended 3.2% up at Rs1,069 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 1% up at 16,741 points.

Tata Communications to open Singapore's first public room telepresence facility

Tata Communications Ltd and Rendezvous Hospitality Group (RHG), said they have opened a telepresence facility that could be first in Singapore telepresence room.

The company plans to add 25 new public telepresence rooms for 2010 in Hong Kong and Malaysia, Tata Communications said in a regulatory filing.
On Wednesday, Tata Communications' shares ended 2.2% up at Rs240 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 1% up at 16,741 points.

Aditya Birla Nuvo’s unit buys US-based Bureau of Collection Recovery

Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd said its business solutions unit Aditya Birla Minacs bought US-based accounts receivables management company Bureau of Collections Recovery (BCR) for an undisclosed sum.

With this acquisition, Minacs' clients will now have access to BCR's team of collection experts and its experienced top management, it said in a regulatory filing.

On Wednesday, Aditya Birla Nuvo's shares ended 0.4% up at Rs713 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex closed 1% up at 16,741 points.
