Located in the Kumaon Himalayas, close to the Tibetan border, stand five prominent snow peaks in a row, rising more than 20,000 ft into the deep blue sky. Their profiles are perfectly triangular and, being symmetrical in shape, they look rather like a child’s drawing of a mountain range.
